Eligibility & requirements
Applicant must be preparing to study in the welding or manufacturing field. Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical college. Applicant will be judged on academic performance, must be active in school and community, and must have a financial need. Applicants must maintain a B/C average in the first semester of college. Requirements: Applicant must email a reference letter and a one-page essay on how they feel they are a deserving candidate of the scholarship to Rita Tracy at rtracy@wimetals.com. (NOTE: You must use a personal, non-school email address in order to submit this information.)
