Eligibility & requirements
Graduating high school seniors whose parents are full-time, active members of a Wisconsin police or fire department. One award to a child of a police department member and one to a child of a fire department member. Winners advance to the national Electronic Security Association Youth Scholarship, where first place is $7,500 and second is $2,500, judged partly on an essay about what it means to have a parent securing the community.
