Eligibility & requirements
Ruben Elijah Reiser Johnson was an honor roll student at New London Science & Technology Magnet High School. He was a passionate photographer with a sharp eye for composition and a gifted artist whose work was displayed at the Hygenic Art Gallery. Ruben was a trend setter and very fashion forward. He loved to be in front of the camera and helped operationalize the TV Production Studio at STMHS. He aspired to attend art school in NYC and work in the fashion industry. Ruben passed away June 21, 2011 after a short but courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 16. This scholarship is awarded in
