John Coleman Prince, American Legion Post 9, New London, CT Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor of civic leader and Post 9 member Anthony John “Tony” Basilica, a Korean War veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne Division and later in the Connecticut National Guard and Connecticut State Guard. For graduating high school seniors who are residents of New London, who have demonstrated interest in civic participation such as NJROTC or scouting, and who are pursuing postsecondary studies at any accredited education institution.
