Eligibility & requirements
Applicant must be the child of a Kentucky Farm Bureau member and remain one while the scholarship is in force, finish high school in the year they apply, enter college as a beginning freshman by the fall after graduation and keep a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5; the applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of Hopkins County Farm Bureau. $2,000 each to four Hopkins Co students pursuing a four-year degree or a degree in Career and Technical Education. It is the Hopkins Co Farm Bureau’s preference to award 3 University or College scholarships and one Career and Technical Education Scholarship when applicable. Recipients must be a member of Hopkins Co Farm Bureau for at least 1 year prior to applying for this scholarship. If student majors in agriculture, the scholarship increases to $4,000.
