Established in 1984 by his family and friends in loving memory of Ledyard resident Edward C. Farrell, who died in a crash caused by a drunk driver in February 1983. An engineer and former Naval officer, Ed Farrell was a loving husband to Dolores and devoted father to four daughters, Beth, Debbie, Tamara and Suzanne. Ed volunteered a great deal of his time and talent to church and community activities. He also believed strongly in education; Ed graduated from Villanova University with a degree in electrical engineering, earned his MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and was pursuing an MB
