Jean Cannon Scholarship Fund

Created by Marvin “Scotty” Cannon in honor of his wife Jean to support students to pursue careers that focus on improving the lives of women and children. Sample careers include early childhood education, adult literacy and ESL, child and maternal health, affordable housing, employment counseling and assistance, violence reduction, etc. Eligibility is limited to students at/from Ukiah High School. Requirements: Passion for improving the lives of women and children, a strong work ethic, and leadership and involvement in community and/or school activities.
