Eligibility & requirements
Wisconsin resident entering UW-Madison as an incoming first-year or transfer student whose family adjusted gross income (AGI) is $65,000 or less; awarded automatically to eligible students who complete the FAFSA (priority FAFSA deadline December 1 each year). Incoming first-years receive 8 consecutive semesters of free tuition and segregated fees; transfer students receive 4 semesters.
