Eligibility & requirements
High school seniors accepted to a 2- or 4-year college or vocational school who show scholastic proficiency, extracurricular participation and a familial relationship to a submarine-qualified member of United States Submarine Veterans, Inc.; graduating from a Charleston, Berkeley or Dorchester County high school (county rule waived for relatives of a Charleston Base member); one-time minimum $1,000.
