What is the College Planner?

The College Planner is a built-in checklist that walks high school students through all four years of high school month by month. Junior year covers PSAT prep, ACT/SAT testing, building a college list, campus visits, and essay drafts. Senior year covers FAFSA filing, Early Decision applications, Regular Decision deadlines, and financial aid comparison. Tasks are prioritized as Critical, High, Medium, or Ongoing.

Yes. Parents typically set up the account and subscription, then hand it to their student to use daily. The platform is designed so parents invest in the tool and students run it. The College Planner helps parents know what their student should be doing each month without micromanaging.

How does the scholarship matching work?

When you sign up, a short wizard asks for your grade, GPA, ACT or SAT score, county, and interests. FundMyFuture then filters the full database to show only scholarships you qualify for. The count updates live as you answer each question. When you finish, your dashboard opens pre-filtered to your matches.

What is the Writing Vault?

The Writing Vault is a place to save your personal statements, essays, and written responses. Many scholarships ask similar questions — saving your essays once lets you reuse and adapt them across applications without rewriting from scratch.
